Meeting 2019-12-11
- Notification of users
- Are users notified when they are about to lose their role or just when the role is removed?
- HOW should notification provided? Via email? frontend?
- Seperate rules from their roles?
- It's not necessary to keep rules seperate, inheriting from an abstract rule class.
Nevertheless it's useful to do so because of following reasons:
- Code becomes more clear and modular e.g. rules can be connected to each other more clearly through logical operators if wished
- users can more easily be informed about which rules are not met, after their role status changed
- It's not necessary to keep rules seperate, inheriting from an abstract rule class.
Nevertheless it's useful to do so because of following reasons:
- How would developers prefer to use karmantra?
- What is the most comfortable way to provide karmantra with own code to be included in skeletons?
-
karmantra should not have external state ->
- only notify admins for changes but not with stats?
- OR provide an API to get/set stat bits within the developers environment/DB
- Have the possibility to keep a role for at least N time? Sometimes a role shall not be lost at all after getting it? How to make it persistant?
